  1. HexWeb XT - how to register?
  2.  
  3. If you have purchased your copy of HexWeb XT from XChange, and provided your QuarkXPress serial number, you have received two keys that are normally on the cover of the software package:

  5. The name key, and the registration key.
  6.  
  7. If you do not type in the registration keys when opening the HexWeb XT Export palette, the XT runs in a demo mode. In this mode HexWeb XT only allows 3 consecutive HTML exports before becoming disabled.

  9. To register:

  11. 1. Start QuarkXPress with the HexWeb XT in the XTension folder within your QuarkXPress application directory.
  12.  
  13. 2. Choose the menu "Open HexWeb export" from the Utilities menu.
  14.  
  15. 3. In the dialog which follows, type in the name key and registration key you received from your supplier.
  16.  
  17. NOTE: You must type the name and registration keys EXACTLY as they were provided to you.

  19. 4. Click the "register" button. If the name and registration keys are correct, you will be shown the HexWeb export dialog. HexWeb XT is now running as a licensed copy.

  24. How can I get a license key if I have a demo version?

  27. Contact your local XChange office, purchase HexWeb XT, and we will provide the necessary keys to convert the demo version into a licensed version.
